Krumpirova rodbina (The Potato Family)

Topli zrak (Hot Air)

8/1/11 World Literature Today (WLT) magazine published my short story Meaning (Smisao) in the International Science Fiction issue (May/June 2010). Also, I've set one of my father's poems to music, for a CD anthology distibuted with the Croatian "Relations" and "Poezija" literary magazines. Read and hear it on YouTube.

15/11/09 Many years have passed... My old-timer rhythm&blues band finally recorded a couple of original songs. Check them out:

27/4/06 The Kak smo svi postali Dalmatinci story (How we all became Dalmatians) won the first prize in the Vecernji list short-story contest. The contest has an impressive tradition, it's been going on for 41 years. So far I've managed to win 3 second prizes, but this is my first first.

3/2/06 I've published a new book, Krumpirova rodbina (The Potato Family). It's a collection of short stories written over the past 25 years.

World Literature Today (WLT) magazine featured the Teletubbies short story and an interview with yours truly in the September-December issue.

14/4/05 Chapter 43 from Hot Air is available in English.

30/8/04 I've received two literary awards in the meantime. The Hot Air  (Topli zrak) novel won the best Croatian prose book prize for year 2002, awarded by Jutarnji list, a Croatian daily newspaper. And in 2004 Teletabisi won the second best short story prize by Vecernji list, another daily paper. English translation is in the works.

30/8/04 Contact e-mail address changed to:

22/03/03: New page address:
A big mnemonic improvement.

03/01/03: Topli zrak (Hot Air) novel finally published.
